Even though previous meetup (& other face-time groups) have come & gone… Tucson’s current “community vibe” is more evident then ever. I’ve recently attended a tweetup & a goodly sized presentation @ TDAC. Amazing new friends, important networking activities & more, have come of that. Now, I’m looking forward to much more of the same. And thanks to the level of local talent AND the peeps who are motivating to come out & socialize, it’s sure to be fun times ahead. Well, fun for us geeks at least. ;P

Love the historical bits, as well as the sense that a real community is emerging, finally, around Web in Tucson. We’ve always had the talent, but between people like me who travel and the Tucson phenomenon of people not liking to leave their homes (guilty!) have played into a bit of a lack of cohesive groups.
